Personal Statement

“My research expertise spans novel drug delivery techniques, development of topical dosage forms utilized as creams, hydrogels, organogels and electrospun fibres for delivery of drugs in HIV microbicide development, non-hormonal contraception, cosmeceuticals, and wound healing applications. I utilize artificial intelligence, via artificial neural networks, and central composite designs in my drug development research. I am actively involved in public health engagement through research, Provision of health information to health care workers and participation in Medical Outreach programs to underserved regions in Africa.”
