Personal Statement 

“I am a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lagos. In addition to teaching, I am a research enthusiast with expertise in the biological evaluation of medicinal plants, as well as the isolation and characterization of natural products for pharmaceutical applications. My research focuses on medicinal plants used in the management of cancer, diabetes, infectious diseases, gastric ulcers, and neurodegenerative disorders. I have developed a robust academic and professional career that spans several institutions and countries. In line with my research interest, I have published in high-impact, peer-reviewed scientific journals and have received academic awards as testaments of my research excellence. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the British Mass Spectrometry Society.”
