Personal Statement

“I am an early career researcher and public health enthusiast, with a passion for discovering medicinal properties in Nigerian medicinal plants using instrumentation. My work focuses on discovering medicinal plants that can provide medicinal properties that can be harnessed to produced drugs from bioactive metabolites from these plants. My ultimate goal is to translate research into safe, effective and affordable herbal products that will address Africa’s challenges in healthcare to achieve good health and well-being (Sustainable Development Goal 3) to achieve Universal health coverage.”
